FS Academy is a not-for-profit organisation working to ensure people living with disabilities are armed with the education, support and connections they need to thrive in today’s world.
FS Academy was founded to support and provide a deeper level of education and insight for industry professionals, ensuring they have the knowledge to effectively educate clients with disabilities.
We are big believers in everyone having the right to experience love, relationships, education and financial security in a way of their choosing and are incredibly proud to be able to provide education and events that support this.
With three sister companies including First Step Solutions, Date-Ability and The Cliq Connection, all businesses work cohesively to enable people with disabilities to live full and happy lives.
These businesses have brought together teams of counsellors, industry professionals, psychologists and sexologists to develop and implement educational programs and events.
First Step Solutions is our flagship company, focused on financial literacy. First Step Solutions was developed to provide NDIS participants with the skills and knowledge to work towards their financial independence goals. We provide support around weekly budgeting with a focus on the behaviour behind spending, whether it be moving away from afterpay and pawn shop spending cycles or spending relative to “dopamine” hits.

Date-Ability
teaches the basics around self-awareness, boundaries and consent, and facilitating safe
dating and sexual relationships. Date-Ability includes three signature courses, including Mates Before Dates Events, spread across Australia, 1:1 Relationship Skills Counselling and the Date-Ability Program. All programs are designed to support our clients make positive, mutual and fun connections with the education to do this safely.

The Cliq Connection
was founded to provide people with disabilities with the opportunity to create friendships and relationships in a safe and fun space. Our goal is to help NDIS participants make and maintain meaningful social connections online, providing the opportunity to ‘click’ through the wonderful people who have joined our community, to create their own ‘clique’!
