Our Guide to Adulting Program is designed specifically for young people aged 17-21 who are ready to take on life’s next chapter. Over 8 weeks, in small groups, you’ll learn practical skills about money, relationships, and navigating the adult world that school might not have covered.

Guide to Adulting is a 8-week NDIS-funded program designed for school leavers aged 17–21 who are ready to take charge of their future. Through interactive sessions covering money mindset, financial independence, online safety, relationships, and confidence-building, you’ll gain practical life skills in a supportive group environment. With a maximum of 10 participants per group, you’ll learn alongside peers while building connections and celebrating your journey into adulthood.

Comprehensive Learning Journey

Discover key relationship foundations through our structured modules covering understanding money, safety, emptions, communication and living independently.

Guide to Adulting is for NDIS participants who want to:
  • Young people aged 17–21 transitioning from school to adult
  • Build essential life skills and gain confidence in managing their independence
  • Those preparing to live more independently or manage their own money for the first time
  • Young adults looking to navigate relationships and build connections with peers facing similar experiences
  • Anyone who wants practical tools for adulting in a safe, supportive environment
  • Participants seeking personalised attention in small groups (maximum 10 per group) while building a community of friends who understand their journey
We run Guide to Adulting groups each term in multiple locations across Australia.  For up to date program information, look at locations in the top menu.
We also offer the program individually.

Guide to Adulting runs for 8 weeks. Each group session is usually around 1.5 hours, once a week, with a maximum of 10 participants per group.

The week before the program starts we offer a 15 min meet and greet with the facilitator or a 1 hour ‘get group ready’ appointment.

We use activities, discussions, scenarios, and workbooks that are accessible and easy to understand.
